Les Masses chairlift
Inaugurated in 2015, the Les Masses chairlift provides access to the Thyon-4 vallées area, the largest ski area in Switzerland, in just a few minutes. The lift, a detachable 4-seater transporting 1,600 people per hour, covers a 600-metre vertical drop in 4 and a half minutes. From Sion, the capital of the Valais, Les Masses chairlift is the fastest way to access the 4 Valleys ski area.  It takes less than 30 minutes to link the city to the mountain.
 
 
At the start of the chairlift, a large indoor car park with 200 spaces welcomes you only 17 minutes away from Sion. A FREE car park which provides access to the start of the chairlift and to the lift ticket counters via a lift.
 
It is a real luxury to park for free at the start of the resort and a truly excellent way to ski with peace of mind all day long.
