HISTORY OF LES MASSES/HEREMENCE
 
Located below Les Collons and above Hérémence, the village of Les Masses includes:
 

• several hundred chalets
• holiday homes
• a small food shop
• a restaurant
• a large car park
• a ski lift offering access to the Thyon resort and the 4 Valleys ski area. 

 
The first ski lift in Les Masses dates back to 1965. This surface lift was replaced by a chairlift in 1982.

From Saturday 26/11/2022 open on weekends from 8:30am to 4:30pm:

Daily opening planned from 08/12/2022 until 16/04/2023. 


Just 12 minutes from Sion and 2 minutes from Hérémence, a large car park with more than 200 spaces at the foot of the Les Masses ski lift offers skiers and snowboarders easy access to the Thyon/4 Valleys ski area.
This covered car park is free during the day.
