A timeless hostel
The Val des Dix hotel-restaurant. In Pralong, at the foot of the Grande Dixence dam, nestles a pretty wooden building with an old-fashioned charm. A beautiful address at the bottom of the Val des Dix where time seems to have stood still and an ideal spot for skiing or snowshoeing from your doorstep.
A guesthouse in an authentic chalet
Pension des Aiguilles rouges à Mâche with simple rooms in a mountain setting where delicious cheese crusts are served.
Pension de Prolin run by Helen. In the small café next door, she offers tasty cup cakes for a tea break as well as local dishes.
While in Rio(d), you get the key to the fields in a nice and comfortable guest studio. A place for those looking for calm and zenitude with the possibility to take yoga classes with Audrey.
A nest in the mountain pasture
For those who would like to sleep on the mountain pasture in winter. The Mandelon gites open every weekend in good weather. Former pig stables have been converted into a gîte. 5 chalets have been renovated with all the comforts. Each of them has two floors with, a living room and bathroom on the ground floor, and the sleeping area on the mezzanine with 4 to 8 beds. In winter, Alexandre and his team welcome you and offer you a snowshoe and raclette package.

For those who prefer the cosy and cocooning comfort of a hotel in the mountains, En Masses Resort. Freshly renovated accommodation offers luxurious rooms in the small resort of "Les Masses", 250 metres from the ski lifts and with a panoramic view of the Val d'Hérens.
