Mountain guide Céline went on a tour of the huts in the Val des Dix and met up with the hut keepers and cabanists to find out a little more about these timeless places and the daily lives of these mountain lovers.

Andy, Gérald, Guillaume and Estelle answered our questions and gave us a behind-the-scenes look at life in a mountain hut. For some, it's an activity that brings a unique place to life. For others, it's a place to remember where they had their first family meal. All are keen to share moments of conviviality in the mountains with visiting hikers.
