The mountain pasture shuttle

Imagine a bus that takes you up to the altitude to hike effortlessly from mountain pasture to mountain pasture.
For visitors staying in the Evolène region and who are fond of soft mobility, this shuttle allows them to travel directly from Evolène to the Hérémence region. A great initiative for travellers without a car to visit the Grande Dixence, the village of Hérémence and its unusual church. The shuttle links up with the Theytaz bus line and takes you to the Grande Dixence dam with the transport of your bikes.

For visitors staying in the Hérémence region, leave your car and climb aboard the shuttle to Mandelon and its alpine refreshment bar. From there, a magnificent 2-hour panoramic hike from alp to alp awaits you. In only 2 hours of walking on the balcony, without effort and without any difference in altitude, you arrive at the Chemeuille mountain pasture and its restaurant where a chairlift will bring you down to the village of Evolène. From Evolène, the shuttle bus will take you back to your starting point.  A great idea for a family hike without worrying about the difference in altitude!
