From the Gouilles of Esserte to the bisse of Vex, passing by the pyramids of Euseigne or the ibex trail near the dam, the following are some suggestions for easy to medium difficulty hikes to make the most of the superb views that the Hérémence & Thyon region offers.

Winter
The beautiful snow-covered landscapes of the Val de Dix are perfect for a little snowshoe outing with family or friends. Hérémence offers two marked trails during the winter: Leteygeon and Pralong. Since the winter of 2017, it is also possible to get to the Mandelon snack bar, open from Friday to Sunday, with snowshoes from Pralong.

From spring to autumn
Hiking in the Val des Dix can be enjoyed in all four seasons. From May on, the walks through the mayens of the Val des Dix offer beautiful escapes off the beaten track. Spring explodes with its green contrasts and browned wooden chalets. The circular walk in the heart of the Val des Dix takes you from village to village, crossing bridges and streams, and is particularly gentle in spring or autumn colours.
