The discovery of a territory is also an encounter with flavours, local products and artisanal know-how. The region is renowned for its exceptional terroir. Cheeses, Hérens meats, rye bread, salted meats and other products are the result of know-how inherited from local traditions.
The artisans of taste are numerous in our region: Stéphane, a passionate baker who makes Le Pain que J'aime. Sophie, a young Bio-Suisse farmer at the Ferme des Devins. François, master cheesemaker at the Ferme de Champasse in Euseigne. Manu who produces our precious PDO raclette cheeses or the other Stéphane, from the village butcher's shop which represents the Fleur d'hérens label... without forgetting our restaurant owners who have at heart to privilege regional products and favour short circuits.
Patricia's walks will take you to meet these artisanal skills. Discover our region during a guided tour with a rhythm of exchanges and anecdotes, encounters and tastings. Taste the essential products of our valley and appreciate the know-how of our craftsmen.
You will discover the soul of our villages, their preserved character while taking a taste break in the traditional places of our village life. You will know the good addresses of the locals.
