Opening of the Grande Dixence site on Thursday 29 May 2025

After a well-deserved winter break, the dam is ready to welcome visitors for a new season!

 

Facilities open from 29 May :

- Grande Dixence cable car

- Barrage hotel-restaurant

- Information pavilion and exhibitions

- Guided tours of the dam

 

The zip line will open in mid-June and scheduled buses will run 4 times a day from Sion station from 21 June to 26 October 2025.
