Le rut du chamois

Have you heard of the chamois rut?

Less well known than the deer rut, the chamois rut begins in late October. As the mountains gradually fall asleep before giving way to winter, there is a hidden mating season for alpine wildlife. The days are getting shorter, the mornings are getting colder, autumn and its golden larch trees are well and truly here, and the fall colors offer a new perspective on the landscape... it's the perfect opportunity to watch the chamois courting females or fighting rivals.

If you love the wilderness, these are events not to be missed! Go on a guided hike with Céline and Etienne, mountain guides, and witness the chamois's crazy mating season.

CHF 50 per adult, children on request
Minimum 4 participants, maximum 8 participants
Details will be provided directly by the guides.
Good physical condition and proper equipment are required.
