A great weekend in Hérémence

A great spring weekend, going green

Day 1 Take a roadtrip from Hérémence to Euseigne along the old road, photograph the hamlets of the Val des Dix and admire the pyramids of Euseigne. Gourmet evening at the Restaurant Le Bois Sauvage with a magnificent view of the valley.

Day 2 Hike and backpack! Hike to the 4 bisses of Hérémence, on the water trail or the panoramic path of La Planie.

Day 3 Walk along the water and the villages with the tour of the villages of the commune of Hérémence (Hérémence-Léteveno-Mâche-Cerise-Prolin-Hérémence). Wander through the picturesque village of Mâche with its educational trail.

A great summer weekend, a summer getaway between nature, heritage and local produce

Day 1 Discover Hérémence and its unusual church from a new perspective with a local. Wander through the picturesque village of Mâche with its educational trail. Evening at the Mandelon mountain pasture, observe the marmots, watch the return of the cows, admire the sunset and taste the local products.

Day 2 A day at Grande Dixence. Coffee at the "Ritz", visit the inside of the wall, hike along the Lac des Dixence, go on the AlpinLine and much more...! Meal at the Val des Dix Inn (Label Fleur d'Hérens)

Day 3 Hike and picnic at Gouilles d'Essertze. Break at the Essertze hut.

A great autumn weekend, autumn colours and flavours

Day 1 Walk through the villages of the Val des Dix and photograph the pyramids of Euseigne in their autumnal finery. Listen to the deer bellow with Céline, a mountain guide.

Day 2 Hike and backpack! Walk along the water and villages with the tour of the hamlets and villages of the Val des Dix.

Day 3 Until mid-October, visit the Grande Dixence dam and enjoy a hunting meal in one of the region's restaurants. Walk in Pralong among the forests of yellowing larches.
