Escape to Grande Dixence from 4 June!

Grande Dixence kicks off its summer season on Thursday 4 June 2026, over the Corpus Christi weekend.

Following the winter break, visitors and mountain lovers will once again be able to enjoy the site’s must-see attractions: tours of the dam, a cable car ride to the crest, a climbing wall, and an exploration of the region’s hydroelectric heritage.

New this season: an axe-throwing activity is making its debut at the site.

The first weekend of the season will also offer unobstructed views of the 1ère Dixence dam before the water levels in Lac des Dix rise – a unique opportunity not to be missed.

The Hôtel du Barrage and its restaurant are also reopening for the season.

The bus service to Grande Dixence will resume from 27 June 2026.
