Opening of the Gorges de la Borgne footbridge

Come and celebrate the opening of the new footbridge linking Euseigne and Ossona!

On this occasion, residents and visitors are invited to come together to enjoy a convivial moment and discover this new suspension bridge linking two iconic sites in the Val d’Hérens. This footbridge will now offer a new way to explore and appreciate the region’s landscapes, combining nature, heritage and alpine panoramas.

 

Programme for the day

 

09.30: welcome and complimentary coffee and croissants before the start of the walk from Euseigne (football ground car park)

 

10.00: official proceedings in Euseigne

 

10.30: talk by biologist Antoine Sierro

 

11.30 am: aperitif and musical entertainment in Ossona

 

12.00 pm: lunch (raclette, grilled meats) at the Auberge d’Ossona

 

Return shuttle buses from Ossona to Euseigne will be available, with possible stops along the way at the following times: 2.45 pm / 4.15 pm / 5.45 pm.

 

The walk between Euseigne and Ossona takes around 45 minutes, allowing you to fully explore this new suspended walkway in the heart of the Val d’Hérens landscape.
