The 1 August Farm Brunch is a traditional event that many Swiss people wouldn’t miss for the world. For the past 30 years, farming families across Switzerland have been inviting the public to come and have breakfast on their farms every year. Whether in the cowshed, the barn or on the mountain pasture, the offerings are varied and unique. However, all the brunches have one thing in common: lavish, carefully presented buffets, made up of homemade and regional produce, served in an idyllic atmosphere unlike any other. It doesn’t get more Swiss than this.
